​What is the Hubble Space Telescope? Well, the Hubble Space Telescope is a  space telescope that was launched into low Earth orbit in 1990 and remained in operation. It is one of the largest and versatile space telescopes out there, and recently it has discovered something unique. A photograph of our universe has taken 13.4 billion years to reach us and is only at 3% of what it is now. At the time, the Hubble was precisely what was needed to take the next step in space exploration. The telescope was tasked to measure how fast the expansion of the universe was. It was going to give humanity a look into things like black holes and how the universe came to be, it was going to revolutionize astronomy, and it did.
